The Fayoum oasis in Egypt is home to a pottery school that gives children the opportunity to develop their talents. Evelyne Porret and Michel Pastore, who founded the school, lived for many years in the village of Tunis. Former students of the pottery school have since established their own studios, which are very popular with the local population. But their story and talent have also won many fans abroad.
Each piece is unique and handmade. The students choose what they want to make and how they want to decorate each little artwork.
